Brainhat features a comprehensive developers workstation
to aid in the design and test of custom systems.
The user has a window into vocabulary, grammars and memes, stored
in a SQL back-end and exportable for embedded or batch Brainhat
evironments.
The screen shot above shows a developer working on a "Bach" meme. Statements describing knowledge of Bach, statements for testing the knowledge, plus specific vocabulary extensions are shown.
Meme data can be imported and exported through the workstation. This is useful for back-up, batching or transfer of knowledge; everything within a meme--statements, grammar and vocabulary can be stored and restored. Data are stored in XML format for standards-compatible management. Brainhat comes with detailed debugging facilities for monitoring and inspecting the processes of understanding human input, running inferences and shifting the domain of the conversation. From within any Brainhat dialog, one can direct the output to a monitor, which graphically displays the input interpretation.
